About Islamic Halal

Our History
Islamic Halal began in 2001 with an idea to certify halal products for the domestic market in North America. We began with halal chicken, then added other proteins, like lamb, goat and beef. We then branched out to certifying the production of vegetables. Over the years, we were instrumental in encouraging companies to change from using lard and animal fats to using vegetable sourced fats in the production and frying of French Fries. At our suggestion, some companies switched from using pork gravy to turkey gravy in their prepared foods. Islamic Halal is now an integral part of the effort to certify halal integrity in foods produced for both the domestic and the global markets.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help halal product vendors and businesses, wholesalers and retailers to certify their products as authentically halal by offering services that include certification in production of beef, lamb, goat and poultry, as well as the halal-compliant production of dairy products, processed foods, additives and ingredients, vitamins and nutritional supplements, and pharmaceuticals.
